Environmental Sustainable Design / Portfolio
Our homes are one of the most important assets of our lives. Our world needs help gaining popularity on that list. The growth and development of our communities has a large impact on our natural environment. The manufacturing, design, construction, and operation of the buildings in which we live and work are responsible for the consumption of many of our natural resources. With the help of sustainable architecture, a green design can successfully meld beauty and functionality together to save our planet from us.
This module has thus introduced us as students to environmental issues and provides some in-depth understanding of the complexities and interactions that the design and construction professions have to deal with to contain some of the irreversible damage that human settlement causes to the environment.
